The Way of Love, Light, and Life

Dear Christ, most holy King,

Our Teacher and Shepherd,

Show us the way

Of love, light, and life,

Living joyfully

In the heart of Christ.

For You are the Way,

The Truth,

And the Life.

Make our hearts temples

Of grace, mercy, kindness, love, life, light, and compassion.

May Your love

And Your life

Overtake our hearts.

May we pray over

And meditate upon

The teachings of Christ daily,

So that we may grow closer

To God our Father.

Make our hearts true,

Pure, merciful,

And compassionate.

May our focus be on Christ,

And on what Jesus would do

In all times and places.

May we hold fast

To His holy Gospel,

And seek to do the same

To the best of our abilities,

With God's help.

For when we do

What Jesus has taught,

We become a light

In the darkness of this world.

God does not force Heaven on anyone,

But lovingly calls us

To follow Christ,

And to live out the teachings

Of Christ, the King of Ages.

Help us to desire

What is good and holy.

Make our hearts true

By the teachings of Christ,

Now and forever.

Amen
