Let my heart be a temple
For the one true God above.
Let my heart sing praises
To our Creator's love.
You made the earth and heavens,
The sea and every land.
With joy I come before You,
Held safely in Your hand.
Let my heart be a temple
For Christ, the King of Kings,
The only-begotten Son of God,
To whom creation sings.
You are the Way before us,
The Truth that lights our road,
The Life that leads us onward
Unto the bright abode.
Let my heart be a temple
Of the Holy Spirit's grace,
The Lord and Giver of Life
Who dwells in every place.
Through prophets and apostles
Your holy voice was heard.
You lead us to Christ Jesus
Through every sacred word.
May Jesus be forever praised,
And glorified each day.
May all come to know and love Him,
And walk in His holy way.
Let my heart be a temple
For the Father, Spirit, and Son.
And may my life give glory
To the blessed Three in One.
Amen.
