God, Teach me

All men need kindness
All men need compassion
For God is a compassionate God

He is truly giving

Teach us, Oh God 
To be kind to others
To be joyful
when they rejoice

Teach us to have 
Compassion for the sick
And those who suffer

Teach us virtue
That we may be 
Virtuous in our actions,
Words, and thoughts

A Prayer for COVID-19 Vaccine

Dear Jesus:

Please help us to get a safe and effective vaccine soon

Please watch over those who are sick

Please help my family and friends not to get sick

Help all the testing of this vaccine go smoothly

Please help everyone to have the kindness
and consideration to wear a mask

Please help our leaders ask the right questions
of the doctors to aid in their understanding
of how to treat the disease

Please help our leaders to trust
the epidemiologists' answers

I put everything related to the coronavirus in your hands

Consecration of the Hearts of Men

Let men turn to the truth 

Of the most holy gospel of our Lord Jesus

I ask for the consecration of the hearts of all men 

To our beloved savior along with his holy mother Mary

I ask for the most wonderful virtues of Jesus and Mary 

That they may be placed in the hearts of mankind

That we shall live by Christian principles 

All the days of our lives

The Purpose and the Power of a Christian Shrine

 If we have a Christian shrine in our home,

Our home becomes a center of worship,

Where Christ is honored and

Christian values are set forth and

Established in our hearts and minds.

If Christian values are practiced,

We will become better people.

My Mind, My Life, and My Future

My mind is often running

With horses that are countless.

Each horse is a thought,

Some about the past, 

Some about the present, and

Some about the future.

Thoughts like, what would it be like

If I hadn't hurt people,

Because I didn't have autism, ADHD, or Biopolar.

Thoughts like 

Would it have been easier 

For me to be sick in another way?

Would it be easier for me not to do the things I did? 

Of course, but I can't change the past.

I can only change the future.

My thoughts go crazy. 

It is like my mind is falling apart.

As my mind falls apart how can I reflect, 

But I want to reflect to try and have a better future.

I think about things I did well 

And things I did poorly.

I like to write them down, 

Cut them up, and 

Burn them.

By burning them, 

I hope to get rid of them.

Sometimes this works.

But sometimes it seems like a waste of paper.

Sometimes my mind feels on fire.

It is so cluttered with junk 

That I watch on Youtube

Or think, or read,

That I go crazy.

Sometimes, I think 

I should stop reading 

Or watching youtube 

Or stop writing poems and 

delete them permanently.

But that doesn't seem helpful.

God willing, tomorrow will be a better day.

Healing My Anger at God

Dear God,

I see the world 

The way other Christians can't.

I often take things too literally

Sometimes my illnesses make me so mad

That I snap out violently

On people who are created in His image

And I know violence is not the answer

I know you gave me:

Bipolar, Autism, and ADHD

So I could make beautiful paintings,

Clean the church

Write good poems

And make great works of art

Help me not to hurt others

And do what is right

I forgive you, God, for my sicknesses:

Bipolar, Autism, and ADHD

                               

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely he took up our pain

and bore our suffering,

yet we considered him punished by God,

stricken by him, and afflicted.

5 

But he was pierced for our transgressions,

he was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was on him,

and by his wounds, we are healed.

The Inward Journey

When you begin the inner journey into your mind

You must clean out all bad thoughts and emotions

For bad thoughts and emotions 

Harm your body, mind, and spirit

If all our emotions are bad

Then we will do bad things

If we are left with only good emotions

They will shape us into a better person

If we are better people, 

Our minds will shine brighter

And our love for truth will disperse 

All the good we can do

And our love for others

The Teachings of Jesus are as Precious as Gold

His teachings shine on all men and women

His teachings support us and 

Show us the way of kindness and truth

They show us that the Kingdom of God is within us

That we are to be loving and truthful to each other

And that we can see God's glory

If we practice the teachings of our Savior 

We will be welcomed into His Kingdom

For his glory is as precious as gold and 

It shines over us

The Power and Compassion of the Cross

The power of the cross is not in the cross alone

but in the one whom it represents

It is for healing mankind

It shows the way to truth

that is the way to God

Our Father who is all compassionate, 

All loving is always with us

And he always cares for us

Jesus points the way to grace and humility

Which leads us to life everlasting

This is the narrow way 

That is described in the Bible

Narrow meaning filled with virtue

Straight meaning doing 

God's will every step of the way

The very path of truth and light

Flowing from our Blessed Lord

From his heart to our hearts

Jesus Dies on the Cross

As Jesus is dying on the cross

He is dying for all of us

No matter our nationality,

Skin pigments,

Family situations,

Gender, or beliefs.

He died to make us virtuous, and loving.

Because he is all virtuous and all-loving.

For he is God incarnate.

Amen

A Prayer for George Floyd

Oh, Mother Mary,

Grant that we who are enlightened by the life, death, and resurrection of your Son

May ever meditate on the teachings of Christ

That we may serve Him with honor and joy

And that we may serve our brothers and sisters in Christ

And that we may treat everyone equally 

Regardless of whatever makes them different from us

We should accept everyone for who they are

We should love everyone 

And help them to be all they can be to others

We need to use our platforms to speak peace and joy

The Road to Holiness

Oh Jesus, loving Jesus

Savior of the world

Show us the way to peace, love, and joy

Give us help to do what is right

and avoid what is wrong

Show us the path that leads to the dearly beloved heavenly Father

Oh Jesus, show us the path that leads to truth

Help us to know the way to handle all that we encounter

Help us to have holiness of mind

Holiness of heart, and

Holiness of body.

To be upright and dutiful in the sight of God

Mother Mary, Tender and Caring

Mother Mary, so strong and so bright

Oh Mother Mary who shines the light

You are tender

You are caring

Showing us the way to Christ

Ever before us, that way is nearing

Teach us all to walk the way the leads to Christ

That his teaching may be put into our hearts

To calm our mind and heart

A flower for the Queen of Heaven

A pink flower for our blessed lady

Teach us to be a flower too

That is a flower in virtue

Teach us to love and grow in holiness

Show us the way of joy and peace

A Prayer to Follow the Teachings of Jesus

Oh, Jesus 

By the light that comes from you

and your teachings

Keep our minds and hearts pure 

from thoughts of sin and evil

Teach us to avoid sin

Show us the path of truth

That winds and turns through our lives

Though the path of truth is straight

in the eyes of God

It is crooked in the eyes of man

For man is not God

and can only see 

so far ahead of himself

Dancing at the Tomb

While some lay flowers

Others lay stones.

Our Messiah and Savior 

Has risen from the dead

Therefore let us dance at his tomb.

For we, who have commemorated his death,

Should celebrate his resurrection.

Jesus Falls for the Second Time

Jesus is fully God and fully human

Though he cannot fall spiritually, 

He can fall in any other way just like any human being.

The day he fell beneath His cross, he was a man carrying a heavy load.

Humans can fall physically, such as when the ground is uneven or they are walking in the dark.

Humans can fall emotionally, such as when your friends cannot come over to play,

One of your friends is sick, or the Church is closed due to a pandemic.

Humans can fall spiritually, such as when they commit a sin or 

When they fail to recognize God's will.

Humans can fall egotistically, such as when they forget how much God helps them or 

When they do not love their neighbors to the best of their abilities.

But Jesus, Our Lord, although he was fully man, never fell spiritually or egotistically,

This is what made him Our God and Savior.

Jesus Falls for the First Time

He carries the weight of the entire world

This includes the weight of everyone's sins, mess-ups, and break-ups

So He falls, but He always gets back up

And He never falls into our sin

And He perseveres to the end

To save us from our sin

Mary, Mother of Peace and Truth

Who is the Mother of the peace of Israel,

The peace of all humanity

It is the Mother of truth and kindness

Mary shows kindness to all in need 

And all are in need.

Because all need God, 

The source of our needs.

All need one true and living God

The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

Mary was chosen by the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit 

To help us grow closer to God
