A Prayer for George Floyd

Oh, Mother Mary,
Grant that we who are enlightened by the life, death, and resurrection of your Son
May ever meditate on the teachings of Christ
That we may serve Him with honor and joy
And that we may serve our brothers and sisters in Christ
And that we may treat everyone equally
Regardless of whatever makes them different from us
We should accept everyone for who they are
We should love everyone
And help them to be all they can be to others
We need to use our platforms to speak peace and joy

Amen

  2. I read your prayer/poem to Ruth Ann Miller and she thought it was beautiful. The sermon today at Dan and Jill Miller's church in Seattle was about Jesus at Lazarus's grave. The minister said Jesus was angry and weeping, protesting all deaths and marching to the gravesite and the cross to do something about it.
