Make our hearts humble,
Contrite, and generous,
With the truth that comes
From our Heavenly Father.
Let our hearts be made true and pure,
And pleasing to God.
For God delights
In honest contrition from the heart.
May we come before You
With sincerity and humility.
For this is the first step
To knowing and loving God.
Guide us in Your truth,
Fill us with Your compassion,
And keep us close to You.
