Oh Jesus, most compassionate savior,
Make my soul honest and pure,
Guiding me in the right direction,
For our souls last forever.
Make us true to your teachings,
No matter what it takes,
To live for Christ with all our strength,
Following Jesus with our whole heart.

A wonderful prayer and I pray it with you today and every day. I like the repeated requests. They are valid and also rhythmic. Beautiful simile that you end with. I like the clear embroidery of an important Bible verse and your decorations of it too.
