Humanity is knowing what God calls us to do and doing it
Humility is the first step to Christ's consciousness
We need humility to become better Christians
We need to acknowledge
That we are dependent on God
For all things
In all times
In all seasons
Pride will make us fall
But humility helps
Keep our footing level,
Spiritually speaking

I liked the reminder to depend on God not ourselves. The repeat of "all things,times , seasons" was very poetic. I also liked the repetition of falling in one line and keeping a level footing in the next. A helpful prayer\ poem. Glad the novena is back.
ReplyDeleteI read this prayer to Ruth Ann Miller. She said it was very beautiful. She said she enjoyed hearing it read to her and that it was the best thing that had happened to her all day.
