Whose heart enlarges and 

Shows the truth of God to the world

Oh Mary, who gave us the truth

A Meditation on the Titles of the Messiah

The Epitome of Compassion - because he is the perfect example of compassion
The Lamb of God - because lambs were used as sacrifices in the Jewish Temple and Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice/atonement/offering for our sins
The Passover Lamb
Son of Joseph - because his mom, Mary's husband's name was Joseph
The Stumbling Stone - because some people stumble over his teachings
Lion of Judah - because Jesus was of the tribe of Judah and he triumphed over the grave
The Amen - because he is a faithful and true witness and the ruler of God's creation (NIV bible)
The King of Our Hearts - because his kingdom dwells within our hearts
King of the Nations - because he made all nations and his ways are just and true
Power for Salvation - because he is like a horn raised up among the people for our salvation and to draw all people to God

A Meditation on the Love of Jesus

The love of Jesus is 

The purest concept in the world

It is given to all men, 

But we must choose 

To accept and cooperate with it

We all have free will and can choose 

Whether to love Jesus or not

Christ gives us hope every day

He teaches us how to pray in his way,

To be obedient to God, our parents, and teachers daily,

To help and honor our neighbors,

So we may enter the Kingdom of Heaven

Seven White Dots on the Cross

The cross represents the death and compassion of Jesus

The red on the cross represents the blood that was shed for our sins

The three white dots represent the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

The four white dots represent the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John

Together the seven white dots represent the perfection of Christ

You are perfected through Christ's death on the cross

Through Him, you can do all things

God will take care of you and protect you.

Managing One's Temper

Oh Mother Mary

I consecrate my temper to you 

Every day, hour, and minute 

Take my temper

and do with it as you please 

Teach me how to live in this world 

and to not lose my temper 

Teach me to use my words and 

Cleanse me from any time 

in which I lost my temper

Loyalty to The Cross

To be loyal to the cross is to be loyal to the teachings of Jesus

To be loyal to the teachings of Jesus is to carry them out to the best of your abilities.

To show love to your neighbors, whether they be across the street or across the world

Is to show loyalty to the cross.

I hold the cross in my heart so true.

It is the symbol of light, truth, joy, and compassion and

the first loyalty in my heart.

For the cross on which He died symbolizes

the forgiveness of sins and truth always.

Oh Saint Dymphna, take all my anxiety and worry away

They sometimes cause me to lose my temper.

Show me how to walk in God's ways and not to worry

Help me to have patience in the midst of worry and

To calm down when needed.

Help me to trust that 

God will take care of me,

So I can calm down.

Discreet but Shining

In a dream, I saw a candle in a clay jar.

Though you could not see the color

Or what the candle was made out of

You could see the wick and it was burning brightly.

This shows how people must be discreet in their prayer

They should not show off,

Because prayer is not to show off,

It is to let your light shine by the power of God's Holy Spirit.

Oh Mother Mary, Queen of Truth

Show us the way to do what is right

Oh Mother Mary, pray for our priests

Keep them pure of mind and body

Loving in soul and heart

Help them bring souls to you

And your son Jesus

Show them the way they should walk

With the Lord and mankind.

Who should we obey?

We must obey any, and all, authorities

that are legitimate and applicable in our lives,

such as policemen, our parents, teachers, doctors, etc.

Why children should obey their parents and teachers because 

obeying your parents will help you learn to obey other people.

Obeying teachers helps you stay out of trouble at school and

will help you get better grades if followed by schoolwork and homework.

What it means to obey your parents,

Help around the house and do what needs to be done or 

what you are asked to do.

Respect them in attitude and tone of voice.

Love them in all things big and small.

Parents do not corrupt youth.

Parents do not introduce your children to anything illegal,

immoral, unethical, or unsafe

either in substance or in practice.

But raise them in ways that are right, just, and fair.

Raise them to be good citizens,

Good members of society, and

To love the Lord with all their hearts and minds.

Mary was not only a virgin when she conceived Jesus but after as well
