Christ peddler: one who preaches what is popular rather than what is true for the purpose of making money

By Rachel

They make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they are animals; stay away from such people. 2 timothy:3-5
They say anything that sounds good to exploit you. 2 peter:2
They think religion is a way to make a fast buck. 1 timothy:6:5
People hate this kind of talk; raw truth is never popular, but here it is bluntly spoken. Amos 5:10
When Simon saw the apostles by merely laying on hands them, they conferred the spirit. He pulled
out his money. He was excited and said how much do you want, name your name your price. Peter said to hell with your money and you along with it. Acts: 8:18
Don’t rush to become a teacher my friends; teaching is highly responsible work. Teachers are held to the strictness standards. James 3:1
What has happened is that some people have infiltrated our ranks. Our scriptures warned us this would happen...who beneath their pious skin, they are shameless scoundrels. Their design is to replace the sheer grace of God with sheer lasciviousness which means doing away with Jesus Christ our one and only master. Jude 1:4
This verse from Acts shows us that we can’t buy and sell the gifts of God. God will give his gifts to whom he chooses, so the truth of the bible can spread.  We should never use the gifts of God to teach what is not true. Christianity should be used to help people see the truth of the bible, not rob people of their money.
