God, Teach me

All men need kindness
All men need compassion
For God is a compassionate God

He is truly giving

Teach us, Oh God 
To be kind to others
To be joyful
when they rejoice

Teach us to have 
Compassion for the sick
And those who suffer

Teach us virtue
That we may be 
Virtuous in our actions,
Words, and thoughts

May the world and its people,
Along with the nations and their people,
Be forever consecrated to the Immaculate Heart
Of Mother Mary and to the most sacred heart of Jesus
For true and total consecration to Mary and Jesus

A Prayer for COVID-19 Vaccine

Dear Jesus:

Please help us to get a safe and effective vaccine soon

Please watch over those who are sick

Please help my family and friends not to get sick

Help all the testing of this vaccine go smoothly

Please help everyone to have the kindness
and consideration to wear a mask

Please help our leaders ask the right questions
of the doctors to aid in their understanding
of how to treat the disease

Please help our leaders to trust
the epidemiologists' answers

I put everything related to the coronavirus in your hands

Consecration of the Hearts of Men

Let men turn to the truth 

Of the most holy gospel of our Lord Jesus

I ask for the consecration of the hearts of all men 

To our beloved savior along with his holy mother Mary

I ask for the most wonderful virtues of Jesus and Mary 

That they may be placed in the hearts of mankind

That we shall live by Christian principles 

All the days of our lives

Amen

The Purpose and the Power of a Christian Shrine

 If we have a Christian shrine in our home,

Our home becomes a center of worship,

Where Christ is honored and

Christian values are set forth and

Established in our hearts and minds.

If Christian values are practiced,

We will become better people.

My Mind, My Life, and My Future

My mind is often running

With horses that are countless.

Each horse is a thought,

Some about the past, 

Some about the present, and

Some about the future.

Thoughts like, what would it be like

If I hadn't hurt people,

Because I didn't have autism, ADHD, or Biopolar.

Thoughts like 

Would it have been easier 

For me to be sick in another way?

Would it be easier for me not to do the things I did? 

Of course, but I can't change the past.

I can only change the future.

My thoughts go crazy. 

It is like my mind is falling apart.

As my mind falls apart how can I reflect, 

But I want to reflect to try and have a better future.

I think about things I did well 

And things I did poorly.

I like to write them down, 

Cut them up, and 

Burn them.

By burning them, 

I hope to get rid of them.

Sometimes this works.

But sometimes it seems like a waste of paper.

Sometimes my mind feels on fire.

It is so cluttered with junk 

That I watch on Youtube

Or think, or read,

That I go crazy.

Sometimes, I think 

I should stop reading 

Or watching youtube 

Or stop writing poems and 

delete them permanently.

But that doesn't seem helpful.

God willing, tomorrow will be a better day.
