The Road to Holiness

Oh Jesus, loving Jesus

Savior of the world

Show us the way to peace, love, and joy

Give us help to do what is right

and avoid what is wrong

Show us the path that leads to the dearly beloved heavenly Father

Oh Jesus, show us the path that leads to truth

Help us to know the way to handle all that we encounter

Help us to have holiness of mind

Holiness of heart, and

Holiness of body.

To be upright and dutiful in the sight of God

Mother Mary, Tender and Caring

Mother Mary, so strong and so bright

Oh Mother Mary who shines the light

You are tender

You are caring

Showing us the way to Christ

Ever before us, that way is nearing

Teach us all to walk the way the leads to Christ

That his teaching may be put into our hearts

To calm our mind and heart

A flower for the Queen of Heaven

A pink flower for our blessed lady

Teach us to be a flower too

That is a flower in virtue

Teach us to love and grow in holiness

Show us the way of joy and peace

Amen

A Prayer to Follow the Teachings of Jesus

Oh, Jesus 

By the light that comes from you

and your teachings

Keep our minds and hearts pure 

from thoughts of sin and evil

Teach us to avoid sin

Show us the path of truth

That winds and turns through our lives

Though the path of truth is straight

in the eyes of God

It is crooked in the eyes of man

For man is not God

and can only see 

so far ahead of himself

Dancing at the Tomb

While some lay flowers

Others lay stones.

Our Messiah and Savior 

Has risen from the dead

Therefore let us dance at his tomb.

For we, who have commemorated his death,

Should celebrate his resurrection.

Jesus Falls for the Second Time

Jesus is fully God and fully human

Though he cannot fall spiritually, 

He can fall in any other way just like any human being.

The day he fell beneath His cross, he was a man carrying a heavy load.

Humans can fall physically, such as when the ground is uneven or they are walking in the dark.

Humans can fall emotionally, such as when your friends cannot come over to play,

One of your friends is sick, or the Church is closed due to a pandemic.

Humans can fall spiritually, such as when they commit a sin or 

When they fail to recognize God's will.

Humans can fall egotistically, such as when they forget how much God helps them or 

When they do not love their neighbors to the best of their abilities.

But Jesus, Our Lord, although he was fully man, never fell spiritually or egotistically,

This is what made him Our God and Savior.

Jesus Falls for the First Time

He carries the weight of the entire world

This includes the weight of everyone's sins, mess-ups, and break-ups

So He falls, but He always gets back up

And He never falls into our sin

And He perseveres to the end

To save us from our sin

Mary, Mother of Peace and Truth

Who is the Mother of the peace of Israel,

The peace of all humanity

It is the Mother of truth and kindness

Mary shows kindness to all in need 

And all are in need.

Because all need God, 

The source of our needs.

All need one true and living God

The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

Mary was chosen by the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit 

To help us grow closer to God
