Devotion to Christ

Devotion to Christ means that you worship regularly

When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites who love to stand in the synagogue or on street corners so that you may see them.
Amen I say to thee, they have their reward.
But when you pray, close the door and pray to your Father who sees in secret and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
In praying do no babble like the pagans, who think they will be heard because their many words.
Matthew 6:5-7 - Where two or three have together in my name, I am there in their midst.

Give to others
Whoever has 2 coats should share with the who has none.
Freely you have received, now freely give
Christ is God's gift to mankind, so follow God's example and give.

Pray for others
The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful.
You may help others in a way you may not know.

Help others too
In the church and outside the church, God loves all so help all who are in need.

Volunteer
Amen I say to you, whatever you did for the least of the brothers of mine, you did for me.
As each has received a gift, let us use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace.
1 Peter - Then I head the voice of the lord saying, "Whom shall I send?" Who will go for us? Here I am, I said, send me.
One gives freely, yet grows grows all the richer, while another with much only suffers want.

Be kind

Keep your marriage and children together.
Compromise fidelity and give each other space
Supporting each other, helping each other with chores and caring for children.

Do not be lukewarm

Would you go to church on Sunday and not think of God the rest of the week? Would you call yourself a Christian and not help others?

The angels showed me the water of the river of life. Crystal bright, it flowed from the throne of God and the lamb. The tree of life was planted on each side of the river producing 12 kinds of fruit. (Revelation 22: 1-5) Everyone in this city was devoted to Christ.
