Heaven has No Password

True devotion is the way to The Lord.
Grace is not a license to sin, but to help others and worship God.
A Life devoted to things is a dead end life, like a dead tree.
A God shaped life is a flourishing tree.
Good character is the best insurance, but bad deeds don't help the doer.
A Life that is devoted to The Lord bears much good fruit, but a life not devoted to the Lord, bears bad fruit.

Amen

Grace and True Devotion Go Together

God's grace enables us to do good,
but many will say, "I have grace so now I can sin all I want".
This is false.
The Grace of God will help us overcome whatever is keeping us from doing the most good.
Faith and true devotion to the Lord go together.
Without Faith, there is nothing we can do to please God.

Amen

Being humble vs. Being Arrogant

God goes against the willful proud, but God gives grace to the willful humble.
Sin came into the world because we wanted to be just like God.
By being humble we do what's right and just
The one who sets himself above God and others will be humbled
The one who humbles himself will be justified.
The humble do the will of The Lord as well as they can and as best as they know how.
They Love God more than worldly things, but the proud will Love things and themselves more then The Lord.

Amen

Shortcuts to God vs. True Devotion to Christ

It is foolish to look for shortcuts to God.
The world is flooded with shortcuts and sells them to you cheaply, so you can practice them in your spare time.
The real answer is true  devotion to  Christ The Lord.
A lot of people might fall for one shortcut or another to God,
but the true Christian will worship Christ with a pure heart and mind.
Deeds of kindness and virtue, he will do.
For Christ is our Lord and Savior
He has built his house on the rock of the Lord
Amen

Treasure in Heaven vs Treasure on Earth

By Rachel Sittig

Where your treasure is, there your heart will be.
If your treasure is in heaven, your heart will be in heaven,
but if your treasure is on earth, your heart will be on earth.
When you do good deeds, you gather treasure in heaven. When you buy and sell worldly goods, your treasure will be on earth.

Worshipping God
We worship God by prayer and giving to others
When we give to others it gives the glory to the Lord
We give time, talent, and treasure to the kingdom of God

Direct Prayer
Prayer to God is not a game
In prayer you should ask for what you need
God will give you what he thinks is best
He is all knowing of both your heart and mind

Amen

Devotion to Christ

Devotion to Christ means that you worship regularly

When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites who love to stand in the synagogue or on street corners so that you may see them.
Amen I say to thee, they have their reward.
But when you pray, close the door and pray to your Father who sees in secret and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
In praying do no babble like the pagans, who think they will be heard because their many words.
Matthew 6:5-7 - Where two or three have together in my name, I am there in their midst.

Give to others
Whoever has 2 coats should share with the who has none.
Freely you have received, now freely give
Christ is God's gift to mankind, so follow God's example and give.

Pray for others
The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful.
You may help others in a way you may not know.

Help others too
In the church and outside the church, God loves all so help all who are in need.

Volunteer
Amen I say to you, whatever you did for the least of the brothers of mine, you did for me.
As each has received a gift, let us use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace.
1 Peter - Then I head the voice of the lord saying, "Whom shall I send?" Who will go for us? Here I am, I said, send me.
One gives freely, yet grows grows all the richer, while another with much only suffers want.

Be kind

Keep your marriage and children together.
Compromise fidelity and give each other space
Supporting each other, helping each other with chores and caring for children.

Do not be lukewarm

Would you go to church on Sunday and not think of God the rest of the week? Would you call yourself a Christian and not help others?

The angels showed me the water of the river of life. Crystal bright, it flowed from the throne of God and the lamb. The tree of life was planted on each side of the river producing 12 kinds of fruit. (Revelation 22: 1-5) Everyone in this city was devoted to Christ.
