A Spiritual Side to the 1st Commandment

You may think 

There is only a physical side

To the Ten Commandments,

But God has shown me that

There is also a spiritual side

To each commandment. 

For example, the 1st Commandment

says you shall have

No other gods before me.

So, let the Holy Spirit

guide you

along with your

Guardian Angel...

To be a light to all,

To develop a close relationship

with God and his Mother, Mary,

And remember to

have devotion
    in your heart

The Cross of Jesus

May the
Cross of
Jesus grace
the center
of our lives.
For the Cross of Jesus is our hope. The Cross of Jesus leads us
to Heaven. Let us become ever more devoted to him each day.
Consecrate your heart and mind to Jesus. When we are fully
devoted to
Jesus, fully
loving Him,
Jesus will be
the joy in our
hearts. And our
hearts enshrine
the temple of
God Almighty
Forever. Amen

Be Meek in All Things

Do what is right 

For God wants us 

To do the right thing

But don't show off 

For pride comes before a huge fall

Love Jesus, our true and most compassionate savior 

By not showing off your good deeds to others 

Even though some deeds are seen by others

This should not be the reason we do them

Be meek and humble in all you think, do, and say

Do not let pride enter your heart

Amen

The Ways of God

Joy be to all who walk in the light 

And holy teachings of Jesus, our Savior

As a lamp is filled with oil, make us your light

Lead us in your truth for all men

That we may have everlasting joy and salvation

Make our hearts and mind like a garden to grow holiness

Allow your most holy teachings to take root in our hearts and minds

Teaching us the ways of God

Amen

Devotion Creates a River of Compassion

Reverence comes from a heart filled with devotion

Without devotion, reverence is empty show

Devotion requires a humble heart, 

Trust in the Lord, and

Trust in the Church the Lord has set up.

Reverence is the action, 

Devotion is the motivation of the heart

God must always be in your heart, 

Even if you cannot do the outward actions

Because devotion is important to God and Jesus

May the Lord fill our hearts with virtue and holiness

Spilling out of our hearts, like a river of compassion.

Mary, Teach Us to be More Like Christ

Oh ever sweet, ever gentle, ever humble Mother Mary
Teach us all the way to walk with Christ, our God
Walk with us and others

Teach us all the way to be more like Christ
Help us help others

Teach us all the way to live out our vocation
Mold us to be better Christians,
Help us serve God and others

Guide us, oh Mother Mary, Oh queen of all joy
Mother of all Blessings,
Pray for us and others

Amen

The Light that Shines Forever

The joy of our God is everlasting
Love for all men belongs to our God
Our God is ever just, ever merciful

Oh Jesus, help us to be a light to the world
Oh Jesus, our true savior of the world
You are the light that shines forever

Your teachings will be like a lamp to all men
Sweet, gentle, compassionate Jesus
Help those who call themselves Christians

To be as you instructed
Bringing joy, peace, hope, and compassion
To the hearts, minds, and souls of all men
