Oh miracle of baptism, 
you are a spiritual washing of the initiate or child
in the waters of life. 

You wash away our sins and 
Make us new in Christ Jesus

Baptism shows us the way to peace and holiness 

And makes us one
With all Christians around the world
Throughout time and space.

Oh Jesus, baptise us in the waters of light, holiness, and love

Your flowing spirit is like a dove

Flowing ever flowing into the ocean blue 

Showing ever showing the way to prayer and all things new

Teaching ever teaching us the way to say our prayers day by day

Carrying ever carrying us back to Jesus, the everlasting way

Though they don't have power in and of themselves,

They remind us of God's power.

They remind us of our baptismal promises

They remind us of the seven sacraments

The bells signal that mass is starting

They help us remain devoted to God and his Church

I choose from this day forward to be loving and kind

I choose to keep in my program every day

I choose to listen to my teachers

I choose not to hurt anyone

I choose not to say mean words

I choose not to be disrespectful and 

I will ensure my words match my actions
