Flowers That Wilt, Glory That Lasts

Many use their talents to gain glory and fame,
But the only glory you should be chasing
Is the glory of Jesus.

For in the end, our glory disappears
Like flowers—fresh, when picked,
Beautiful to look at,
Beautiful to smell,
But they wilt in the sun
And their look and smell vanish.

So use your talent well,
Whether singing or writing,
Whether you know how to play
A piano or a harp
Not to glorify yourself,
But to glorify Christ.

If you are good at painting,
Then use that
To glorify Christ.

Amen

Daily Need, Daily Obedience

You want Jesus without his teachings?
What you want is a sacrifice to cover your sins,
But without obedience to God
And compassion toward your neighbor.

You want Jesus without his gospel?
What you want is the bread of life,
But without the word of life.

Many people take Jesus as Savior,
But not as boss or teacher,
But as healer

Can we live the way we want
And still gain heaven?

Once we are safe,
Are we always safe,
Or do we need God daily?

If we don’t need God daily,
We don’t need him at all.
If we need him,
We need him daily.

Amen

Through Beads to Christ

If one would talk to beads,
It might seem strange and odd,
As though the beads could do something for us.

But the prayer beads cannot do anything.
They hold no power of their own.

We use them to meditate,
To enter a frame of mind
That helps us learn the story of Jesus
And grow in his grace and knowledge.

They help us grow in Christ consciousness,
And draw closer to Christ
In mind and heart.

For the beads focus our mind
On the one we are praying to...
Jesus Christ our Lord.

It may look like we are praying to Mary,
But we are going to Jesus through Mary,
The same way Jesus came to us through her.

Yes, it looks like we are talking to beads,
But we are not.
We are meditating on the life of Jesus
Through prayers to Mary.

Amen

No Shortcuts on the Way to God

Oh God, holy, pure, and true,
Is your name, your word,
And your kingdom forever.
Let your wisdom grow in our hearts each day.

Oh Jesus, you lead us on the way,
For the way that leads to God
Has no shortcuts and no side roads,
Only the narrow road of truth.

We live in honesty and love,
Following all you taught
In word and in action,
In devotion to Christ, the King
And Savior of the world.

Let our worship be not only prayer and song,
But actions of holy compassion,
Kindness and mercy,
So that the word and wisdom of Christ
Live in our hearts and minds.

May the advent of Christ consciousness
Awaken our hearts,
That we may act more like Jesus
From day to day.

May our devotion to Christ grow deeper,
And may we gain the pure wisdom
That comes from Christ our King.

Amen

Channels of Light, Love, and Life

Oh Jesus,
May your light, love, and life
Be our joy and our hope,
Our faith, compassion, and kindness.

May your word, Jesus,
Be like water,
Washing the dirt from our consciences,
Not merely to gesture,
But to renew us completely.

Renew our hearts,
For a healed heart
Is a whole heart.

Keep your love true within us,
For untrue love is no love at all.
Love that is untrue
Is as good as none.

O God, keep your light true.
Let the Holy Spirit
Make us channels
Of love, of life, and of light,
For your greater glory.

For our glory is nothing.
The glory of God
Is love and peace,
Compassion, kindness, and mercy.

Your mercy does not run out
For those who truly want it,
For those willing to change.

But time will run out
For those who refuse to change their ways.
Teach us to seek you
With whole hearts,
Whole minds,
And whole souls.

If we reject Jesus,
How can we enter heaven?
There is no other way
Than the name and teachings of Christ,
Given through his apostles.

Oh Jesus,
May your life
And your teachings
Be our lasting joy
And our salvation.

Teach us to live with kindness,
With love and compassion,
For what we do to others
We do to Christ.

Be our daily bread,
Our firm foundation,
And our medicine.
Let compassion
Be oil in our lamps.

Keep your ways pure and true,
Carry us through easy times
And through hardship,
For there is a time of plenty
And a time of gleaning.

Amen.

Be True in All You Think, Say, and Do

There’s only one path to salvation, one path to joy.
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life;
No man comes to the Father except through me,
But he meant something much deeper.
We need to live with our lamps trimmed and extra oil.
This oil is Christ consciousness, devotion to Jesus in our heart.

We need to live with our hearts clean, full of devotion to Christ.
We must be true in all we think, say, and do.
For to be obedient to God is not just to comply with His wishes,
But also to have sincerity in our hearts
And to live out every day to the best of our abilities,
With true Christ consciousness.

Amen

Let Christ Consciousness Grow in our Minds

May the Christ consciousness be poured
Out on the earth as the water is and
Cover the sea
May the light of the flame
Which is love, pure and true, cover the world.
And we who are sinners
Be the flame of love,
And not only see it,
But let the flame of love and
The Christ consciousness grow in our minds
Like wheat in the field
Like grapes on a vine,
Let the gentle heart of Jesus
Be our guide

Amen

Removing the Weeds of the Heart

Heaven, grace, mercy, compassion, and wisdom
Incarnated is Jesus, our true Savior,
Our loving, gentle, compassionate healer for all time.
Jesus, help us to be healers for mankind,
To heal the darkness in their hearts,
Even when they think they have no darkness at all,
Because seeing the darkness is the first step of healing.

The next step is to understand its cause
And remove it with God’s help,
For we cannot do this ourselves.
We must rely on Christ our Savior.
He will help us remove the weed from our heart
If we so desire it to be so.
He will not just remove the weeds,
But also the roots,
Because if we remove the weeds without the roots,
They will grow back.

But if we remove the roots,
They will stay away for good,
Unless we decide to replant on our own
With deliberate actions and words
Not words and actions spoken in weakness,
But words and actions that are premeditated.

Amen.

The Golden Box and the Way to God

In my dream last night, I saw a golden box
Covered in red silk cloth decorated with seashells and sapphires.
The seashells remind us of rebirth in Christ, our Savior.
The red silk cloth reminds us that the blood of Jesus
Is the way to God, given that we live in compassion,
Mercy, kindness, faith, hope, and love.

It stands for true, everlasting, pure wisdom
Of the Blessed Mary, full of kindness, mercy, faith, hope, and love.
When we have a relationship with the Mother of God,
Holy and true, we look forward to heaven as our home,
Because it is the home of Christ.

If we want to understand and do what is true,
Kindness opens the doors to heaven.
How can we seek heaven and God’s kingdom
If we do not act with kindness, compassion, faith, hope, and love?
For love is true when it comes from God,
And love is false when it comes from anything other than God.

Seashells also remind us of baptism.
Baptism lights our path, washing away sin that makes us spiritually unclean.
We see God’s light helping us understand
Love, obedience, mercy, kindness, and God’s true compassion forever.

If we see that God is truly kind, loving, and full of mercy,
We should not take advantage by sinning or doing wrong.
God’s kindness and mercy are meant to lead us to change
Changing our minds, changing our actions,
Changing our attitude, and changing our consciousness.

Amen

The Path of Honesty and Compassion

May the honesty that comes from Heaven
Be forever in our hearts and minds.
Let the compassion of Jesus help us
Understand the way of God, our true Father.
The path of Jesus is compassion and honesty,
Holiness and true kindness,
A heart full of mercy mixed with honesty and love,
Forming everlasting compassion.

As Jesus fills our hearts with joy,
May we walk in the way shown by Christ our Savior,
The path true and pure.
First comes honesty, then kindness.
Help us take the path to everlasting life,
Like stones that help us cross a river,
Mixed with light and love in Jesus Christ.

Oh Jesus, help us be strong
In faith, hope, and love.
Make us honest and compassionate at heart.
Oh Jesus, may Your love infuse our hearts,
May Your light infuse our minds.
Oh Jesus, be our joy.
May we express our love for the Father in truth.
May we learn to walk in the path of Jesus.
Amen.

We Toil in Vain Without the Lord

True and pure must be our mission.
Everyone has a mission,
But not every mission is approved by the Lord.
For the Lord wants purity, obedience, compassion,
Kindness, justice, peace, and love.
May the Lord bless our missions
If they are according to His Word,
But if they are not according to His Word,
The mission is worthless.
Unless the house is built by the Lord,
The laborers labor in vain.
Unless the city is guarded by the Lord,
The guards keep watch in vain.
The mission the Lord approves
Is to spread the teachings of Christ and no other
His light, His teachings, His name.

Amen

Christ Consciousness and the Two Cups

I pledge allegiance to the most Immaculate Heart of Mary
I pledge allegiance to the most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
For they understand the ways of God.

Let their pure minds help us understand our gentle, loving, compassionate God.
May we always be true to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
And to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

He is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
He is the King above all kings,
And He is the King of our hearts and minds.

Let Christ consciousness enter our hearts
With joy and peace,
With compassion and holiness,
With justice and mercy.

Let all who hold Christ consciousness in their minds understand,
And let this understanding teach them
Not to rely on their own strength, wisdom,
Or even the gifts God has given,
But to do what they are called to do in Christ Jesus.

Cups are containers; sometimes they hold water or wine,
And at times they hold poison.
Every cup contains something
Good or evil, truth or deception.

There are two cups that come from God:
One contains union with Christ's body, blood, soul, and divinity.
The other contains spiritual poison, ideas that sound good
But in truth are deception.

This Cup of deception, if we drink it, brings disunion with God,
For it makes us unable to be friends with Him.

Amen
