Prayer for our nation

Dear Jesus

Help me to do what is right, just, fair and compassionate.

Help our nation to do what is right , just, fair, and compassionate

Jesus Speaks to the Women of Jerusalem

Oh Jesus you spoke to the weeping women of Jerusalem

To try and console them

You show us how serious our sins are,

That our sins pull us away from the truth, 

And the vine of life.

They pull us away from life eternal.

But humility, true humility 

Brings us back to life, peace, and joy.

Amen

Oh God, Help our Deacons

Make them loving to their wife and children

Make them able to work with all people

Make them trustworthy with the church, their wife, and their employer

Make them humble of heart and mind

Make them friends of all people

Give the strength, courage, and ability to perform works of charity

Amen
