God's Labor Laws

By Rachel Sittig

In the bible God teaches us how to treat our workers
Don't muzzle the ox while it treads the grain
This means we must give our workers safe working conditions and fair pay
Give them a living wage
Don't hire those who can't defend themselves
Child labors are particularly vulnerable
Getting little to no pay
Sometimes they get paid only in food and clothing
Do not make people work seven days a week
This also means give them breaks to rest
Above all treat your workers as people not robots

Kindness is True religion

By Rachel Sittig

Be kind to all people for this is what Christ told us to do
Children obey, help, and honor your mother and father as Christ would
Trying your best at all times and places
Treat the poor with kindness
Give them what they need to live
Give them food, clean water, and clothing

If you have time to volunteer to help others, do so
Use the skills you have to help the poor and needy
If you live with roommates, pray for them
Try hard to get along with them and do what is right

Amen

Jesus won't save us against our will

God won't save us without trying
Jesus wants to save us, but we must pray and try to do the right thing
Jesus won't save us against our will

Amen
